Delete Your Director-y Account

If you’d like to delete your Director-y account and associated data, you’re in the right place.

Director-y is operated by Directory App LLC. When you request deletion, we will remove your account and personal data from our active systems, subject to any retention obligations we have under the law.

How to Request Deletion

To delete your account, please email us at:

From the email address associated with your Director-y account, include:

1. Your full name

2. The email address you use to log in to Director-y

3. A short statement that you want your Director-y account deleted

Example:

“I request deletion of my Director-y account and all associated data for the email [your email here].”

What Happens When We Delete Your Account

When we process your request, we will:

• Permanently delete your account profile

• Remove your posts and media from your profile where feasible

• Remove your messages from your account view (other users may still see copies of messages they received)

• Remove your account from search, recommendations, and in-app connections

Some limited information may be retained for:

• Legal, accounting, or security purposes (for example, records of payments, fraud prevention, or abuse reports)

• Aggregated or anonymized analytics, which can’t be linked back to you personally

We do not sell your personal data.

Verification & Processing Time

To protect your privacy, we only process deletion requests sent from the email address linked to the account or where we can otherwise verify your identity.

We aim to complete most deletion requests within 30 days, and will notify you by email once your request is finished or if we need more information.
